2. Black-and-White:

Finally! Most photographers who didn't buy plug-ins have been waiting impatiently for Photoshop to include a better way to go monochrome than the archaic, pain-in-the-neck Channel Mixer. The wait is over with this version's black-andwhite conversion adjustment. It comes with a bunch of cool presets, but its most useful feature is the scrubby slider that appears when you click and hold on any spot in your image. Doing so, then moving your mouse back and forth, lets you adjust the intensity of that particular tone up or down. When you're done, you can add any shade of tint right there.
