Raymond Hubbard and his wife Sarah at their home in Darien, WI. Raymond was wounded in an attack on his base in Baghdad on July 4, 2006, losing his left leg. He was in a coma for a month afterwards, and has since been slowly recovering from his grievous wounds. While recovering, he has acted as a spokesman for NEADS, an organization that gives specially trained dogs to badly wounded combat veterans.
