A British celebrity photographer who came from the rarified world of jazz, O'Neill has a nose for musical talent that's linked him with stars ranging from Frank Sinatra to the Beatles to new faces like Amy Winehouse. He discovered a young Elton John on the cusp of fame in the early 1970s and photographed him through the decade.
