Step 14: There's a problem. Photoshop opens a prompt box stating that "Images to be merged must be the same size." Clicking OK aborts the Merge to HDR command. When the images were made into Smart Stacks and aligned, Photoshop added an extra pixel in width here and a pixel in length there, so each Smart Stack is of a subtly different size, such as 3892x2593 pixels or 3892 x 2594 pixels.
