The Edgar Winter Group: They Only Come Out at Night (1972) Would you buy...anything from this man? Winter pioneered the gender-bender cover with makeup and jewelry to accent his albinistic features. The image -- which also evoked the 1910 film Frankenstein, name of the band's monster hit -- was out of character for both Winter and designer/photographer John Berg. But it sold millions.
