Richard Ettlinger photographed this mother feeding insects to her young at Oceanside Marine Nature Study Center using a Canon EOS 10D, 500mm f/4L EF-IS Canon lens and 1.4X EF extender. Exposure, in aperture-priority mode, was 1/750 sec at f/5.6, ISO 400.
