3. Control the grain.
To take charge of the amount of grain you'd like in your shot, first choose one of the grainless presets. This one's Ilford Delta 100. Then click the Grain tab, and move the Overall Grain Strength slider until you like the amount. From there, control how much grain you want in the highlights, shadows, and midtones. Scale the grain to make it look like you shot 35mm, medium-format, or 4x5 film, or imitate the effects of push-processing.
