Step 1

Finally, add a little sharpening. Duplicate the layer you repaired. Then zoom out to 50% and go to Filter > Sharpen > Smart Sharpen. Keep your Radius low so you don't oversharpen the grain, and pump up the Amount until you've got a sharper result.
