Sometimes you just have to clone. The Clone Stamp, which has been around since the early days of the program, takes a little more finesse than the Healing Brush. But when you've got a crack on an edge, it's your ticket to realism. Hit S on your keyboard to get the tool, pick a small, soft brush, and sample by holding down Alt (Option). Then carefully paint over the spot until it looks natural.
