Directed by Bob Fosse and starring Mariel Hemingway and Eric Roberts (in a superb performance as Stratten's murder-ous husband), it's a glittering descent into hell. Yes, it's about photography: In one way or another all the characters are seduced by the power of the camera, and in the end, everyone is dead-physically or morally-because of it.
