You have awesome photos and we have killer prizes. Pop Photo readers are an incredibly talented bunch, bringing staggering amounts of skill and creativity to the table. To recognize those abilities, we're going to be reinstating our monthly photo contest, this time, with prizes! Each month we will pick a theme for you to photographically riff on.

This month the theme is Childhood. Entries can range from photos of children to far more abstract interpretations. We will archive the photos in a gallery that will be updated with new entries every day. Winners will be chosen by Pop editors with help from users in the Pop Photo forums.

ENTERING:

To enter, E-mail your entries to PopPhotoBorgContest@gmail.com. They should be at least 1000 pixels wide (landscape) and 700 pixels high (portrait). You can enter up to five photos before the August 7th deadline. All entries will be posted to a gallery that's updated daily on PopPhoto.com.

PRIZES:

One grand prize winner will receive a Manfrotto 7301YB Compact Tripod W/Alu 3-Way Head and New Leg Angle Selectors ($137.00) and a Kata 3in1 Sling Backpack ($125.00). We will also be featuring the winning photo as our Photo of the Day on Popphoto.com. A runner up will receive a Dust-Off Digital Camera Care Kit ($15). Because photographing kids can definitely get messy.
