By now, you've heard about Lightroom 5 coming out of beta, but Adobe has also released an update to Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter, bringing both to version 8.1, and adding support for another handful of cameras and lenses. This update adds more for Micro Four Thirds and Medium Format shooters especially, and squashes a handful of bugs.

Growing up in New Jersey, photographer Ben Canales didn't have a lot of stars to look at. Now, however, he spends many nights out in the cold with his camera pointed towards the horizon, capturing the heavens and the land below them. He shared with us some crucial tips for getting amazing shots of the night sky. 

Back in January, Tokina announced a new wide-angle zoom lens, replacing the 12-24mm version previously available. Now, the Tokina AT-X 12-28mm f/4 lens has been given an official price for Canon and Nikon APS-C mounts, and will set you back $599 when it becomes available for purchase.

There's a decent amount you can do with  free, online photo editors, but one area they sadly lack in is support for Raw files. However one developer has proved that a modern browser has enough power behind it to handle even the biggest Raw files.
