Digital Only vs Full Frames Lenses:Just like camera bodies, camera lenses come designed for full-frame, APS-C-sized, or Four-Thirds-sized sensors. It is important to understand this distinction to ensure compatibility between lenses and a camera.A full-frame sensor is generally 1.5x the size of an APS-C-sized sensor and 2x the size of Four Thirds-sized sensors. For the most part, cameras with APS-C- sized sensors can use both digital-only and full-frame lenses. However, some full-frame cameras (notably Canons) can use ONLY full-frame lenses.

At a time when many new interchangeable-lens cameras have been forgoing reflex mirrors altogether, Sony’s new Alpha 55 (and Alpha 33) take a radically different approach. Instead of ditching the mirror—and with it, speedy, reliable autofocus—Sony gave these two DSLRs a semi-transparent mirror that doesn’t flip up and down. The result: Cameras that can autofocus continuously while recording high-definition video, and fire off stills at high burst rates—and that keep the existing Alpha lensmount for compatibility with the entire Sony lens catalog.

Lola is a master at the art of cutting and pasting—the old fashion way—with a pair of scissors and some Elmer’s.Lola’s main work revolves around creating hilariously exaggerated portraits like the ones above. Her creative process begins with a mental picture of her subject and the setting she will place them in. She then searches the Internet for images that are high-res enough for her to crop, print and eventually begin cutting up.
