In the aftermath of devastating April 27th tornadoes, a new Facebook group lets people put up pictures, documents and anything else they've — and hopefully get in contact with the owners.The group has only been up since Wednesday evening, and less than 48 hours later there are already almost 500 images uploaded. There are storm-ravaged photos, pages from song sheets, and found objects that may have meant something to someone — including credit cards, stuffed animals, and a rather fancy hat.

Wijnanda Deroo has long photographed interiors, from public buildings to hotels to homes, absent any human presence. “I think you reveal an atmosphere more without people in it,” the photographer, 55, based in Treadwell, NY, says. “When people are in the frame, you focus more on the individuals.”

The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) is marking this year's Earth Day by making a call to all photographers to submit shots of the environment around them, be it good or bad. They've set up a Flickr group where anyone can submit up to two images a week to the Earth Day State of the Environment photo project. 

Stolencamerafinder is a website set up by UK photographer Matt Burns to help people track down their missing and stolen cameras. All you have to do is drag and drop a photograph taken with the camera onto the website, and it'll trawl its database for any images that have the same EXIF serial number.
