Miguel Tovar was a freelancer working on assignment for AP in Argentina, covering the Copa America soccer tournament, and he submitted a series of photos of children playing the game in a dusty field — and in one of those images, he used Photoshop to clone a dust cloud over his own shadow. This clumsy editing attempt has caused the AP to come down on extremely harshly.

By now, we've seen plenty of these Mr. Rogers-style "how-it's made" videos, but they never stop being interesting. The latest entry documents the journey a Leica lens as it goes from raw materials to final product. The video is a lot more stylized and less detailed than the Canon version we shared a couple weeks ago, but it still gives some insight into the meticulous Leica process.

The Discovery is the recently decommissioned NASA shuttle, which flew 39 successful missions during its operational lifespan from 1984-2011. Now retired, it's going through a lengthy decontamination process before being given to the  Smithsonian Institution's National Air and Space Museum for public display.

The internet is filled with arguments at all times. But, the latest fodder is distinctly photographic, stemming from claims made by Rob Hummel in a video on the Kodak Youtube channel. Specifically, the most controversial bit comes in the form of a statement about how taking a digital camera onto a plane damages the sensor irreparably.
